whinging that is utterly pointless...

I always forget to post here. I must go in and tweak the issues with Semagic that caused me to stop bothering with it. Time is the trouble.

Time.

That is my main whine now. I haven't posted in [info]dexy_demented or any other asylums in forever.

I simply cannot ever seem to juggle all the different pieces of my life in a way that lets me do a little of everything. It's pay attention to wider fandom and ignore Immeritus or vice verca. It's read and comment or write and post, but no time for both. Then the family, work, and other rl issues are constantly pulling. They must be given priority until I'm at the "OMG I am going to go insane if I don't escape to fandom!" breaking point.

I am taking a little time I don't have to post some more of my old poems or fics today. I need it.

Oh there's another thing... I try to re-read and edit the poems and fics before re-posting. It takes a lot longer on the fics so I keep putting them off. There are several of those I want to pick apart, then send to betas.

I sometimes wonder if I am not the slowest writer ever. I read stuff that *seems* to have been written quickly by some authors I think are great and wonder how they find the time. (I also read a lot of crap that was turned out quickly by others and want to scream: YOU HAVE POTENTIAL! Slow down and find a good beta.) I noticed I've found much less I want to change in my own work that was beta'd.

That is all.
