 Posting in the 2nd Immeritus Christmas Exchange has been going on for several days now and I've totally failed to properly pimp all the goodness.  I've given short summaries of what's been posted so far.  Go!  Read!  Click over to the sign-up/ comments threads and leave a little feedback if you like something!   If you're really adventurous, scroll through the list of participants and be ready to guess who did what for whom when posting ends! 

The G to PG-13 art forum has one super fabbity piece right now.  

Night Roamers-- features a very smexxy**, yet G rated and totally worksafe Sirius, along with a certain motorbike.  The attention to detail throughout kills me ded.   ** The smexxy could just be me and my tendency to think pretty much anything with Sirius is smexxy. ; ) 

The G to PG-13 fic forum currently houses 3 lovely stories.    All of these are short and sweet and well worth your time, if you're into Marauder Era.  

Peevela--  MWPP are up to no good when they decide to play a Christmas prank on Filch.  

True Happiness--  A heartwarming ficlet featuring  Moony, Padfoot, Prongs and Lily.  Sirius is uncharacteristically serious and it makes me love him even more. (If that is indeed possible.)

Libera Delicia--  Delightful story in which a girl dares play hard to get with Sirius, complete with Marauderish pranks, backfires, and a lovely ending. 


The G to PG-13 Poetry has 2  poems for your reading pleasure. 

Chocolate Cake-- This one has a bit of a story frame to go with a sonnet Remus Lupin has written to, you guessed it, Chocolate Cake.

My 'Friend'--   A beautiful poem about Severus Snape's love for Lily Evans.   (It's enough to make me sigh for the greasy git-- and I tend to find his 'devotion' to be on the obsessive stalker creepy side, normally.) 

Wait, maybe insaner is a better word. (Yes, I know insaner is not an actual word.)

Anyway...

I have toyed off an on with either trying to assume maintainership of pr0ny_biker or opening my own Sirius Asylum.

I'd want to make changes in pr0ny_biker like opening it up to ANY Sirius related anything, including Remus. You know the rundown: art, fic, poetry, G-NC-17, icons, polls, meta/discussion. RPGs or other ads by permission only.

I'd also want to open membership because I just don't have time to click around and see if people say they are 18 or not.

Low key would be essential, but some sort of Sirius posting push upon the Grand Opening! would make sense. Basically, encouraging everyone to link, post, or rec their existing Sirius works. Other than that, a prompt now and then when the mood strikes. That sort of thing. :D


A big problem for me is I'm not very good with computers, but I can learn. I'd need help in finding a layout that makes it easy to find tags and those other things that make asylums easier to navigate and find one's favorite flavor of the month. (Ex. I'm jonesing for Sirius/Lily now, but in a week or two it'll be Sirius/James before turning back to good old Sirius/Remus... if a Snack attack doesn't hit me first.) Yes, my Sirius is a bit of a whore, or maybe that's me.

I've been biting my fingers for weeks to not spill the beans! The totally awesome team at Immeritus had a stroke or something and decided to interview me for the Immeritus Member Blacklight. *boggles* Anyway, the interview is actually posted and OMG, I so needed this about now after being sick in bed all day myself (stupid virus) and having 2 of 3 kids coming home not feeling well. :D

I am SO going to blow up buildings in Las Vegas more often now that conspiratorsb will be living there!
